Kathleen To, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Surgery

Dr. To is Assistant Professor of Surgery. She received her MD from Duke University in 2003, and completed her general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, followed by a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship, both at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. To's clinical interest are in the areas of surgical critical care, trauma, and non-trauma emergency surgery. Her research interests are in patient outcomes, sepsis, blood conservation, and wound care. She also has a strong interest in education and protocol development. She is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care and is an ATLS Instructor. Kathleen's husband, Harry Hsieh, has a PhD in computer engineering. They are the proud parents of Alyssandra Jolie Hsieh, who is now 16 weeks old.
